The Dale Community Center isn't just a place; it's a testament to what we can achieve when we come together. Our journey began with a deep passion for our community and a vision for a central gathering place—a hub where individuals and families could connect, learn, and grow.
From those early aspirations, we've poured our energy into creating a welcoming space that serves as the backdrop for life's important moments. We host everything from lively recreational events and enriching educational programs to crucial civic meetings and heartwarming family gatherings. Every activity, every program, every gathering is fueled by our commitment to fostering a stronger, more engaged community.
The impact of the Dale Community Center is felt in every smile, every shared conversation, and every new skill learned. We are passionately dedicated to providing resources that enhance well-being, spark new interests, and build lasting connections among neighbors. Our work is driven by the belief that a vibrant community is built on shared experiences and mutual support, and we're proud to be at the heart of it all. Join us at www.dalecc.org and be a part of our continuing story!
Enhancing community well-being through inclusive programs that promote education, social welfare, and civic engagement.
The Dale Community Center, which was built in 1923 as the Dale School, was deeded to the Dale Community in 1955. In 1984, the Dale Community Center incorporated as a 501(c)(4) nonprofit and in 2024 the organization was granted a 501(c)(3) status by the IRS. The board operates the facility as a recreational and community event center for Dale residents and surrounding communities. The gym has a full basketball court and is open for youth recreation. Private schools and church groups use the gym for sports practices, and volunteer groups use the building for fundraisers. The building is also used for receptions, reunions, and quinceañeras.
Membership in the Dale Community Center is open to all individuals who express an interest in the organization's mission. Membership is valid for the calendar year in which interest is expressed.
