2026 AARP Community Challenge Grantee Announcement
The Dale Community Center is pleased to announce that we have been selected as a 2026 AARP Community Challenge grantee, receiving both a micro grant and a demonstration grant.
These awards support our ongoing work to strengthen the Dale Community Center as an inclusive rural community hub. The funded projects will help improve access, encourage social connection, and create more opportunities for residents of all ages to participate in community life.
In rural areas, community spaces play an important role in reducing isolation, supporting wellness, and connecting residents to programs, services, and one another. We are grateful to AARP for recognizing the value of local, practical improvements that make communities more livable.
We look forward to sharing project updates as this work moves forward.
